Public speaking is the act of talking to a small or large audience for the purpose of informing, entertaining and/or persuading.

This is perhaps the most feared and dreaded part of communications. But it shouldn’t be. The predominant issues that affect public speakers stem from his/her psychology. It is our biased perception of ourselves and the audience that creates a chain reaction of distress and anxiety.

To learn public speaking is to first study the nature of fear and how we react to it. All learners of public speaking must first, and foremost, master their own emotions.

Unlike face-to-face communication, the stage changes everything and the voice/body language of the orator must adapt to this new environment. Participants will acquire specific knowledge and skills for workplace presentations to enable the most desired audience response.
